Welcome to GK Icon Academies Derby. We specialise in professional goalkeeper coaching for 6 to 15 year olds of all abilities. We operate in the Derby area on Thursday and Friday evenings as well as offering holiday camps, team training and one to one coaching.

Derby Head Coach

Ross Atkins

Our Derby head coach is a former professional footballer having played for Derby County in the Championship. Ross was born in Derby and was brought through the youth system. In a long professional career he also represented Burton Albion in League 2 before becoming a goalkeeper coach. Ross is currently back at Derby where he heads their Goalkeeper Academy.
