Leigh Ralph brings an abundance of coaching and goalkeeping experience, having coached with professional teams within the UAE football league structure over the past 3 years. Previous to that, he played as a semi-professional goalkeeper in the UK & Ireland for over two decades. Now, he is eager to pass on his knowledge to upcoming players and help them reach their full potential. With a successful track record of training young athletes, Leigh is deeply committed to the game.

“I am a highly ambitious and success-driven goalkeeper. I am a skilled communicator and motivator. Using my experience and knowledge, I am able to drive goalkeepers to success,” says Leigh.

Leigh believes that learning the correct technique is just as important as playing with confidence. He stresses the significance of working on reflexes, agility, leg speed, decision-making, and hand-eye coordination, along with the mental and psychological aspects of goalkeeping. According to him, giving attention to these aspects is crucial for players who want to genuinely improve in the goalkeeping department.

Leigh has worked with players from all over the world with different backgrounds and skill sets. He uses this experience in his deep understanding of how to develop players and bring out their best performance.

Leigh has obtained the English FA Level 1 and 2 Licenses and is close to completing the UEFA C License. He strives to provide the highest level of training to goalkeepers across the GCC region. His coaching career continues to go from strength to strength, and over the past year, he has worked on a 1-to-1 basis with some elite-level professional goalkeepers from the English Premier League and English Championship. After conducting extensive research and study, he has created innovative training methods for young and senior level goalkeepers, from which many have benefited from his mentorship.
