Welcome to GK Icon Academies Manchester. We specialise in professional goalkeeper coaching for 6 to 15 year olds of all abilities. We operate in the Manchester area on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings as well as offering holiday camps, team training and one to one coaching.

Max Johnstone

The brother of England goalkeeper Sam, Max started his playing career as a scholar at Fleetwood Town at 15 years old and went on to play for Man United at u23 level, Sunderland and St Johnstone. He then made the move over to Dubai where he started coaching and playing. He managed the u15s and the u21s at Gulf United while also coaching the academy GKs and while playing he won Division 2 and the golden glove with Gulf United and got the move back to England with Macclesfield FC!
