Welcome to GK Icon Academies Worksop. We specialise in professional goalkeeper coaching for 6 to 15 year olds of all abilities. We operate in the Worksop area on Friday evenings as well as offering holiday camps, team training and one to one coaching.

Worksop Head Coach

Abbie Kent

Abbie, our worksop coach, has a breadth of experience coaching and developing goalkeepers along with being a Goalkeeper herself.
Abbie has previously coached and developed the next generation of England female goalkeepers at the Women’s High Performance Goalkeeper centre.

Alongside her BSc Manchester City Community Football Coaching degree from Manchester Metropolitan University, Abbie completed a mentorship with Manchester United Girls at the RTC where she supported the development of their future talent of Goalkeepers.

Abbie also currently plays for SJR Worksop FC who are in the East Midlands regional league division 1 North where she also coached their U10’s girls team.
